Description
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Work directly with business users in logistics, warehousing, and distribution to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements. Translate these into clear functional specifications and process flows.
ERP Configuration & Functional Leadership: Configure and maintain the ERP system (e.g., SAP WM/EWM, Oracle WMS) to support LE and 3PL processes. Provide expertise on system capabilities, best practices, and solution design.
Testing & Validation: Develop test scenarios, execute functional (unit) and integration testing (SIT), and support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Ensure solutions meet quality and business requirements.
Hands-On Troubleshooting & Support: Act as a Tier-2/3 functional support expert. Proactively investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex system issues in a multi-system environment (ERP, WMS, TMS interfaces). Implement robust, sustainable fixes.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate effective workshops and meetings. Communicate technical concepts and functional solutions clearly to both technical developers and non-technical business partners, a critical skill for this nearshore position.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides, process manuals, and training materials. Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as an ERP Business Analyst, with a concentrated focus on Logistics Execution (LE) and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) modules within a major ERP platform.
Strong ERP Functional and Configuration skills.
Proven ability to translate business needs into system configuration.
Organised, structured, and autonomous working style with a proven track record of managing own workload and deliverables effectively.
Hands-on problem-solving aptitude with direct experience in troubleshooting within a multi-system environment. You are someone who digs into issues to find the root cause.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English. Must be able to build trust, manage expectations, and explain complex issues clearly across cultures and time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in a relevant ERP module (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Experience working in a nearshore/offshore or globally distributed team model.
Basic understanding of integration technologies (EDI, APIs) relevant to 3PL operations.
