Business Development Manager
Publicada 24 de AgostoAt Izertis, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our company in the Swiss market, particularly in the Geneva area. We are looking for a commercially driven profile, focused on new business development, with experience in IT consulting or technology services and the ability to identify, develop and close new business opportunities.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Identify and proactively acquire new clients in the Swiss market, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical and financial sectors.
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, events and referrals.
- Develop new business opportunities and open new accounts for Izertis.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification and qualification through to negotiation and contract signing.
- Lead commercial proposals, including value positioning, pricing and contract negotiations.
- Work closely with delivery teams, technical experts and Izertis' international hubs (Spain, Portugal, LATAM and India) to develop solid and competitive proposals.
- Develop and grow client accounts once acquired, identifying new needs and business opportunities.
- Build long-term client relationships, positioning Izertis as a strategic technology partner.
- Contribute to strengthening Izertis' positioning and brand in the Swiss market.
- Engage with both business stakeholders and IT decision-makers.
What are we looking for?
- 5 - 8 years of professional experience in commercial or business development roles within IT consulting or technology services.
- Proven experience in new business development and new-client acquisition (new business/new logo).
- Experience in one of our key sectors: pharmaceutical or financial services.
- Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to engage with both business stakeholders and IT decision-makers.
- An established professional network in the Swiss market, particularly in Suisse Romande.
- Experience with international or nearshore delivery models will be considered a plus.
- Availability to visit clients across the region.
- English and French at C1 level or above.
- German will be considered a plus.
- Based in Switzerland, preferably in the Geneva area.
- Valid Swiss work permit or legal right to work in Switzerland.
- Driving licence will be considered a plus.
Where would you be based?
The position will be carried out in a hybrid working model, based in the Geneva area, Switzerland, with availability to occasionally attend client offices and visit clients across the region. This is a full-time position (100%).
